The objective of the SMARTPLANT project is the development of a digitalization system that guarantees the obtaining of the plantar geometry with sufficient resolution to allow the construction of adapted insoles for the improvement of comfort, treatment of injuries, postural corrections or any other podiatric treatment.
A suitable device has been developed that is able to digitize the sole of the user’s foot and obtain the necessary information for the prescription or manufacture of anatomical or orthopedic insoles.
Perform the digitization process autonomously, allowing communication with it from any device through a web interface.
Minimize the size and weight of the device to facilitate its portability and allow digitization outside clinical/healthcare facilities.
